The Misters Disco Story
Misters Discos started in 2007, after a wedding that stuck with our founder, DJ Mister. He arrived at a venue where another company had supplied the disco setup, and the couple were understandably disappointed. The venue looked incredible, but the disco didn’t match it. The equipment was dated, some of the lights weren’t working properly and the setup looked nothing like what they’d been shown.
DJ Mister did what he could, and thankfully the music brought the night back to life. But the experience stayed with him. It showed just how much the sound, lighting and presentation can change the feel of an event, and that couples and party hosts deserve better than simply making do.
That night was the start of Misters Discos. The idea was simple: provide reliable DJ hire that sounds great, looks the part and is properly suited to the venue and the event. That’s still what we aim to do today, with professional sound and lighting, carefully planned setups and DJs who care about getting the music and atmosphere right.
